Norwalk firefighters were called to 13 North Taylor Street just before 1:30 p.m. A garage converted into a repair shop near a row of storage units had caught on fire.
Crews were able to put out the blaze before it spread or anyone was injured, the fire department said.
Authorities are investigating what sparked the blaze.
